A practice with a founder still in it.
After years working alongside other practitioners, Dr. Brian Marino opened Pequannock Valley Dental Associates in 2007. The idea was not complicated. Deliver serious clinical work in a warm, welcoming setting, and treat the treatment plan as a conversation rather than a verdict.
That approach worked. In April 2021, Dr. Marino and Kristen expanded by acquiring Dr. James Walter's office in Montville, now Montville Center for Dentistry. December 2023 added two more: The Center for Dentistry of Vernon and Whitehouse Station Center for Dentistry.
Every location has been renovated, re-equipped with current technology, and staffed with people who want to be there. Pompton Plains is still where it started, and still where you will find Dr. Marino most days.
Prevention first
The cheapest dentistry is the work you never need. Regular visits, real education and honest timing keep small problems small.
Explained before it happens
You see the images, you hear the options and you decide. Nothing gets scheduled that you do not understand.
Finished in house
Implants, crowns, aligners and cosmetic work are handled here by the same team, so accountability never gets handed off.

Advanced implant training through Minec America in Irving, Texas, plus surgical and prosthetic implant training abroad.
Coursework at the Dawson Academy in comprehensive care and TMJ treatment.
